The 3 idea groups you want as your first 3 are diplomatic, administrative and humanist. You can't really do that with mil early and you're probably not doing that with Administrative. You'll be swimming in mil early so you could consider taking a mil idea second, but I think it's more useful to tank dip to fill out ideas to get some of the Ottoman's excellent national ideas. In terms of order, with a super blobby Ottomans (successful WC in 1.13, abandoned One Faith late in 1.18), I went Administrative, Influence, Religious, Quantity. Otherwise, you probably can't go wrong with Offensive, Defensive, or Quality.

I don't really like it most of the time, but forcelimit is more useful than excellent troops for discouraging coalitions and that's what Quantity excels at. Diplo is great too though.ĭepending on how hard you're blobbing, Quantity can be useful. I'd go with influence as a super blobber, for the AE reduction and Diploannex reduction. You also won't have rebellions once you've cored and converted, which is not as nice as Humanist but still good. I prefer Religious to Humanist, mainly for the CB - you'll still have to fabricate on Hordes, but so it goes.
